The reason that initiates me to write this book is to make reader understand application of total magnetic method in ground water investigation works because most of professionals get confusion to use magnetic method for groundwater and argue that it has only application mineral exploration works. Practical hydrogeophysics book describes deeply how to apply total magnetic field model to determine geophysical property the overburden and bed rock and it helps to control the effect of equivalence and suppression of models in interpreting conventional electrical resistivity sounding techniques. It is very important to make understand of application of magnetic method in groundwater investigations by delineate fracture, faults and it indicates the most likely vertical electrical sounding stations which could save time, energy and project budget. It is my belief that the confusion of using magnetic method in geophysical ground water exploration would be removed and initiates most of researcher to emphasis on total magnetic field method.
