On the coastline of Sydney's Northern Beaches Ricky feels like he's one of the most miserable blokes out. He hates change, he hates people, and most of all he hates himself. There is nothing in life that can't be taken away, so you may as well live like you've got nothing to give. That's Ricky's logic, anyway.

After he gets let go from the biscuit factory he works at, Ricky meets a beautiful woman named Emma on the edge of North Curl Curl headland. Emma sees a man that's lost and needing help to find his way, and Ricky sees a hot chick that's actually talking to him willingly.

Praise Be is the story of Ricky's slow journey towards finding peace within himself and the world around him. And with the help of Emma, he discovers what it means to love someone again, including himself.
