About the Author
Fayette Sullivan is a mother with three children and eight grandchildren. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, in a middle class family. Her grandparents raised her, and she's a beloved Saints fan. Her grandfather was a black professional baseball player and her grandmother was in several social aid and pleasure clubs. She got married when she was 20 years old but got divorced 12 years later. She went to college for a short time and finished two vocational courses with honors. She likes to sing, dance, write and read a good book occasionally. Now, she is in Texas, after Katrina hit her city back in 2005. She brought her family in Houston, but most of them went back to New Orleans. The author stayed to work in Texas. She did drawings at one time, and started writing when she stopped working around 2009, because of a foot operation. Since then Fayette has been writing a lot. "The children in this world needs a good book to read from time to time. Anyone with a vivid imagination can write. I would like to think that I'm that person, someone who loves to hear the laughter of children" - Fayette
