From the beginning of time, God communed with mankind, not like he did in the beginning, but He does in the heart of man today. He also speaks when natural disasters occur to specific acts of His judgment. He is always in control of all things by his acts. The disasters we have faced have been outside of human control. They have been unpredictable and unpreventable in our pass and present time. What is God trying to say in all of this. He wants us to be stronger and be reflective of Him. That's why we have trials in our lives so we can change our ways. He is a Purifier and a Refiner, that's the kind of love he gives. He cleanses us of all unrighteousness by the blood of Jesus Christ. Refine is the message!

Gloria Murphy Carroll was born in Washington, D.C., and attended public schools. She has trained in biblical studies and seminars for over thirty-five years. She says, "It is important that every person look over their life starting from childhood, when we were very sensitive. Things may have been crucial and some hard to forget like bodily harm, ridicule because of failure, and rejection just to name a few. Take a view in your mind of these things that caused us as adults to be stand-off-ish or unfriendly and so timid. It made us hold jealousy in our hearts, and kept us from being a part of anything and so reluctant to try. We must find the root and let God refine us and He will break the chain."
