Regardless of what it did while it had control of me; No one could deny it made me stronger. Tougher. As tough as an emotion eating mind controlling parasite could make you, I'd imagine. Sam's normal. Always has been. Now she has an undiscovered supernatural species in her head. Which, in her personal opinion, not normal. It started out innocently enough. Short awkward girl with entirely too much hair and a brand new college degree. Simple. Everyday. Boring. But when the CIA takes notice of her, how antisocial and awkward she is, things change fast. When her area of expertise lands her in a job that makes no sense, she's dubious. So dubious, in fact, she lets a dangerous supernatural creature escape. Entirely by accident. The sub-human is like nothing else the CIA has ever seen, and the creature plans to keep it that way. He slithers into Sam's mind and steals her body, forcing her to take him back where he belongs. It's quickly obvious to Sam that there is something not quite right with the thing inside her head, parasitic unnatural tendencies aside. Something about the way he says 'Home', that worries her. Soon it's not just running from the CIA and the sub-human alike that concerns her. The creatures world is wrong. And it's not something she can just let go.
