She doesn't believe the radio reports, and since no one is willing to talk about it, she decides to take action into her own hands and uncover her city's mysteries by herself. Derek awakes on a beach with no memory as to how he got there, but the people who come to his rescue-"humans"-tell him everything he needs to know: He's an angel sent by their God to help rid their world of the lingering demonic race. Derek goes along with this, as he has nothing better to do. All the while, Kevin, Nikki, and Derek hear mysterious voices calling out to them.
