Abandoned by his mother to live on the streets, Jack learned early in life how to survive in a cruel world. Through a verbal contract with an enigmatic man known as the Colonel, he is taken from the streets, cared for, and trained to become an assassin. The role suits him well until the day that his conscience will no longer permit him to perform his contracted work. When he flees, he becomes the hunted. With nowhere to turn, the former assassin must choose between old friends and new, the chance to renew his life, or killing the man that became like a father to him.
