Rina experiences a mixture of emotions as she is reminded not only of all the commonalities that she shared with the victims, including double initials, but also of a childhood that she has tried desperately to forget. Up against seasoned defense attorney Thomas Cugino, who is a local legend, and with very little evidence against the defendant, Rina finds herself looking to her past in an attempt to convict the killer.
