However, he is eventually rescued by an attorney who agrees to take the case Pro Bono once the attorney's own incarcerated cousin castigates him for losing touch. And somehow, this case is exactly what the attorney needs to regain his perspective. At the murder trial he is pitted against a highly competitive, tough-as-nails prosecutor and impassive all-white jury that gets the culture-shock of their lives when he pulls an absolutely brilliant strategic move to have them view the crime scene (the prison) so they can better relate to the fear his young client felt.
