Her story takes you from childhood growing up on a dairy farm in a small southeastern town in Minnesota, to her travels as a military wife. As the Depression ends World War II is looming in Europe and spilling over into the United States. Jobs were becoming more available due to the war, such as defense work. Her husband, Neil is sent to Tokyo, Japan where she will later join him. With all the adversities and joy that happen after divorce, Harriet moves on to becoming a self suffi cient woman working as a full time Workers Compensation Adjuster retiring at the age of eighty! Today she shares an Urban Flat with her youngest daughter Linda and their adorable pet Chihuahua, Shay in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
