As the world suffers from a deadly virus, Beatrix Martin and Clive Anders travel to search for more people that have not perished from the outbreak. Beatrix and Clive save Mitch from a group of scavengers trying to take his life. Mitch is grateful to them for saving his life and becomes captivated with Beatrix.
