Description
The Flame Beyond Time is not a book you simply read. It is a place you step into - a poetic, mythic scripture of speculative memory that invites you to wander, linger, and listen. Here, science fiction brushes against theology, mysticism meets quantum wonder, and every page is threaded with the hush of something sacred. I didn't write this to be a straight-line story. I wrote it for moments - moments when you pause, breathe, and feel the words reach for you. Like a psalter or a prayer, it can be opened anywhere. Every canticle, fragment, and vision stands alone, yet together they form a living tapestry. You will meet Aelira, Fr. Iosif, and the Child as you might meet constellations on a night walk - not in neat introductions, but in glimpses that slowly become familiar. Some passages are only a breath; others invite you to stay awhile. This work came from many places in me - creative writing, dreams, and stories gathered over decades as a lawyer listening to people at their most vulnerable. But most of all, it came from my daughter, Katerina. She has never spoken, yet she has taught me that silence is not empty. It is full. It arrives before words and stays after they are gone. If you open this book and, somewhere in its pages, find a piece of your own longing, a spark of mercy, or the sense that you are not alone - then it will have done its work. Everything beyond that is grace.
