The River Ever Flows is a collection that aims to wrangle with a strange and decaying world that is often as terrible as it is beautiful. With an American reality of collapse and deterioration and a wave of fire crashing across international shores, the world is a place that is filled with fury that is rarely allowed to be felt, much less expressed, in a society that values escape and unchecked optimism above all else. This poetry collection aims to experience and revel in the anguish that many experience in this current world, seeing all of the fire and taking refuge in what humanities and beauties that are still left and still worth fighting for.
