Gillian holds a master's degree in English and has taught in various schools and colleges. Currently, she tutors students in English and conducts writing courses whilst continuing to write books. Gillian lives in Cape Town, where she enjoys being involved in her local church, attending cultural events, and walking on the beach. She has three adult children and one grandchild.
