Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace (1875 - 1932) was a prolific English writer most famous for being the creator of "King Kong". During his lifetime, he wrote 18 stage plays, 957 short stories, and over 170 novels. Other notable works by this author include: "The Dark Eyes of London or The Croakers" (1924), "The Clue of the New Pin" (1923), "The Calendar (1930)".
