Product Description Feeling harried? Growing old too fast? Soon, with the advent of the O-Transformer, you will be able to purchase time. Although if you are not wealthy enough, you may become a chronogen, and your O-Energy will be decanted as you watch large-screen videos. Richard Stritzenberger, with the help of his friend and business partner Alan Royce Bradford, is currently in the process of developing the O-Transformer, an invention which will alter lives and challenge the democratic process. Even as you read this, it is happening. Through the efforts of these two men, a new industry - and a financial empire - is being born. Review AWARDSThe Timebroker was awarded a finalist in the Independent Publisher Book Awards ("IPPY") in the category of Fantasy/Sci-FiThe Timebroker was selected as a finalist in Foreword Magazine's Book of the Year Awards in the General Fiction category.REVIEW"Nan Weizenbaum's The Timebroker is a chilling science fiction novel written by an extraordinarily talented woman, about the revolutionary effects of the O-Transformer, an invention that allows people to purchase time. Those not wealthy enough to buy time, however, become chronogens whose O-Energy is siphoned while watching large-screen videos. A dark and disturbing extrapolation of human nature when given technology with limitless power, The Timebroker is a compelling and recommended read from first page to last."      -Midwest Book Review Small Press Bookwatch, May 2002 About the Author Nan Weizenbaum was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1955.
