Unscrupulously breaking the rules of the game and the deontology, the end is tragic and, at the same time, ridiculous. A kind of political, ideological prudery and wild beast's rapacity stand at the origin of this protagonist's passion. The novel is read with excitement, driving you to the verge of tears and he always says to himself, "What a life it would be?" The fiction of the novel materializes the phantasms of the individual, a political animal, of the groups, of the present, the appetites, the fears, the desires and the resentments.
