The setting is the Vietnam War Memorial. At one end of the wall, two army buddies reminisce about a friend they lost in the war, and how he had personally affected their lives. Further down the wall a woman talks to and remembers her brother, whose name is also on the wall. A warm, reflective mood is broken when a vacationing family invades the area, taking pictures and making insensitive comments. The family soon learns the difference between touring monuments and visiting/remembering loved ones.
