It is a year after the failed attempt by Saif Megrahi, son of the executed dictator Colonel Muammar al-Megrahi, to escape North Africa and live in exile in Mexico. Secretly exiled head of al-Megrahi's Amazonian Guard, Major Ellmeera Majang, Australian marine biologist Doctor Nicole Brandon, and retired investigator John Bolt have settled into their new business partnership.
