Pastor Church has been called to bring true believers in the Gospels together under one roof and save as many souls as he can before the End Times. Following his heart and Christ's guidance, he came to Modoc to fulfill his mission. After twenty years of devoted, unfailing effort, Trinity House has grown into a thriving Christian community of Evangelical and Fundamentalist believers. Now his efforts are being undermined by a few weak souls who have succumbed to the temptations of Satan, creating a wedge that threatens to split his flock in two and undo his efforts.
Lady Church married Pastor because he was a man of vision. Unfortunately, she never accepted his dream as her own, and now her ambivalence towards Trinity House and its deeply spiritual congregation had decayed into cynicism. Her emotional numbness is shattered by a personally tragic decision she is forced to make alone, lighting the match on a chain of events that may prove Pastor's concerns to be well founded. Her trauma has made her strong enough to face the dark days ahead.
Macbeth Lunatic is a devout Evangelical Christian, devoted to Trinity House and Pastor Church's clear style of presenting the Gospel to the common man. His commitment extends beyond community service. He volunteers his personal time to maintain the church's landscaping and building, despite being a successful businessman. His position within the congregation is altered in the blink of an eye when Jesus speaks to him personally, warning of an apocalyptic event that threatens Trinity House, if not the entire world. Despite opposition from the congregation and his own mind, Mac persists in sharing his warning of the End Times.
