Those men are known by many terms, but one of the terms is "Triple Canopy". This book is comprised of three stories from the journey of Patrick O'Kelley, a "triple tabber". The first story is from his time spent as a Paratrooper in the Airborne - of serving as a sniper during the invasion of the island of Grenada. The next story is from his time as an Airborne Ranger - it focuses on the loss of a close friend during a training accident. The final story is from his time spent as a Green Beret in the Special Forces - of operating behind Iraqi lines during Operation Desert Storm. These stories come from the ground level, from an actual warrior serving at the "tip of the spear" with other warriors.
