No doubt, almost everyone in the world has heard of the Vedas, one of the most expansive literary treasuries of India. The Vedas are a timeless source of inspiration, offering guidance and enlightenment to those who seek it. Here, I have attempted to provide a brief overview of the Vedas for basic understanding. The Vedas are a collection of ancient Indian texts, composed in Sanskrit, that are considered to be the oldest and most sacred scriptures of Hinduism. They are believed to have been composed by sages and seers over thousands of years, and are divided into four main categories: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda.
