Assuming you read my first book "Behind Every Smile" you may think all is well as I go off to college. However, as you began to read my book, you'll realize that neither I nor you were ready for my life next stage. Sit back and picture me mentally falling asleep on my goals and dreams in life as I run from my past problems into multiple open doors. Only then, through the pain I was enduring, did I need to know what I now know to proceed in life. I realized that every smiling face isn't your friend just like everything that glitter isn't gold. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it's good for you. Fortunately for me the hurt and pain I experienced, felt pushed me into writing my books. That was a dream I dreamed back in 2010, slept on it for four years till I talked to God. That was the beginning of my writing journey. Let's just say there's a reason why God said "Live of the world and not in the world". If you yet to understand that phrase then let my books demonstrate what it means. After all actions speak louder than words right? I now go by my new favorite phrase (when life gives you lemons, you have to make a lemon detox water to get rid of the toxic inside and around you rather it's the company you keep or the bad habits you repeat. Whatever the case may be, it's time for us all to detox ourselves. Only then can we grow from what we go through in life and people. Remember there's always a blessing in each storm. For any and everything we go through in life is either a lesson or a blessing. We just have to be wise enough to know the difference from the two.
