As you read this book, you are going to get a firsthand look at everything I went through in my fight back to life. And when I say everything, I mean everything. A lot of people have great stories to tell, but they leave out their true feelings and what really went on. When I was in the hospital, I had no idea what was ahead of me. I felt as if I was a blind man being led by a rope. This is one of the reasons I wrote this book. I wanted to give people an exact look at what it's like to have gone through what I went through. I want survivors to know exactly what's ahead of them-and that they're not alone. I also want everyone to know what goes on both physically and mentally inside a survivor's mind. But that's not all.
