Ever since she was a small child in the scenic surroundings of Rathdrum, Co Wicklow Eithne Cavanagh has been fascinated by the powers and activities of birds. From the day her mother showed her some tiny blue eggs lying in their nest in the hedge birdsong has been a constant background music throughout her life. While still at school she started writing poems. She has been widely published and has received many awards for her work. Colum Clarke is a keen amateur photographer, his photos have been used by Bird interest organisations, journals and also as an educational aid. He is a retired electronics engineer and before that he travelled the world as a Radio Officer with the Merchant Navy. In addition he occasionally writes poetry and short stories. Now and again he composes pieces for violin, which he asserts he plays badly! Susan Flynn is a painter of wildlife and pet pet potraits.She also writes poems.
