Description
The monograph presents a novel digital radio broadcasting solution that was patented in Poland in 2013. The solution does not involve signal quantization, sampling or coding in the classical approach, and it does not rely on analog-to-digital conversion. In the transmitting device, a signal is decomposed into a generalized Fourier series, and at the receiving end, series components are summed up to reconstruct the signal. The proposed solution requires transmitters and receivers with a more complex structure, but it minimizes channel occupancy. Remote diagnostics is based on the concept of a machine's pattern spectrum, which was presented during the 4th International Congress of Technical Diagnostics in Olsztyn (Poland) in 2008.
